Elizabeth Ministry and Candeo

At the request of Bishop David Ricken of the Diocese of Green Bay, Bruce and Jeannie Hannemann, founders of Elizabeth Ministry International, minister directly to individuals and families touched by the devastation of pornography addiction and other unhealthy sexual behaviors. They also work with clergy and parish staff seeking to offer support and healing.

After researching many programs for recovery, Bruce and Jeannie discovered Candeo. They personally enrolled in Candeo and quickly realized its amazing potential as it enhanced Bruce’s own healing from pornography addiction. They also recognized this online, science-based recovery program complements Theology of the Body and other Catholic teachings. This observation was confirmed by Catholic clergy and psychotherapists.

Candeo’s tested and proven online recovery program has been used by more than 8,000 individuals in over 80 countries. Elizabeth Ministry International and Candeo have now partnered to create a Catholic-based program for recovery called RECLAiM Sexual Health. RECLAiM helps participants integrate faith and recovery! The program is designed to mend minds, heal hearts and save souls hurt by unhealthy sexual behaviors.

Combining scripture, church teaching, natural law, prayer and other faith practices, participants will experience the full support of their faith to recovery efforts. (This is a Papal Fidelity Resource, loyal to the Pope, Vicar of Christ, and to the magisterium in union with him.)

This innovative approach uses a professional and science-based program designed to help individuals overcome difficult-to-change behaviors. A unique integration of Theology of the Body and Brain Science brings support from a Catholic perspective to the service of those in need. With the light of faith, it will bring participants to an understanding of God’s original plan for humanity as described in the book of Genesis and give them an opportunity to RECLAiM Eden’s plan!

We seek to serve a world-wide population struggling with difficult-to-change behaviors by:

  • Psycho-education and cognitive behavioral techniques tested and proven through clinical experience and online application.
  • Anonymous, affordable online access 24/7—helping people when they need it, for as long as they need it, wherever they are.
  • Ongoing training, tracking, accountability and support to increase and sustain long-term change.
